you read the fine print with the astrix at the bottom. *A draft class shouldn’t be graded until a minimum of
three NFL seasons has passed. The *astrix isn’t true but the rest is. By making up imaginary grades right after
the draft is more of a guess. No one knows who is going to be a bust or a hall of famer. So lets get into the
delorian with doc brown, the tardiest with Dr.Who, or even Bill and Ted’s phone booth and go back to April
28h-30th. A simpler time, I don’t know why but it sounds calming. Lets grade the 2011 draft and see how your
team actually did. For the next seven weeks I will do one round weekly giving grades to each team from the
7th round to the 1st. So enjoy the trip down memory lane and see if your general manager or former general
manger made the right picks, let’s go deep

Bruce Miller

|
11
214
Derek Newton
Arkansas State
OT

OG
Washington C- Has been hurt the last two seasons but has

from Miami
|
15
218

from NY Jets through Detroit and San
Francisco and Green Bay
|
29
232
Baron Batch
Texas Tech
RB
Pittsburgh F+ Prime example of why you should wait to put
grades on a draft. Mr. Batch
looked like a great
pick up in the seventh. During non contact drills he
tares his ACL missing his entire rookie season. Then get on the field
the
the season after and hardly contributes with 20 carries for 49 yards.
He

starting
position
Compensatory
|
32
235
Jimmy Wilson
Montana
DB
Miami B+ Early in his career he was mostly a special
teams contributor and that wasn’t
much. His second
season he was able to do more being used at safety and slot
in a limited capacity. In 2013 Wilson came into his own. He played
well, and
was able to back up almost everywhere in the
secondary and start if needed
